CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 

Hello everyone, this is my blog number 8, which means that it is my last blog 😊. Today I’m going to talk about the changes that I would make to my study program, lets begging.

How´s you already know; I’m currently studying Forestry Engineer in the University of Chile and I love
my career, however no all is rainbows and flowers. About the curriculum, I think that there are some subjects that are in the curriculum just for be in there. These subjects don’t have any relevance for the career and for the students it all.

About pedagogical techniques, I have to say that some are outdated, which does not motivate the students to keep studying. Also, some teachers can be lazy. I hear that a teacher of an elective juts gives a worksheet and that its.

Antumapu is big, however the university don’t use the all the space, and some people take that territories illegally. about the buildings and infrastructure, I don’t have much to say, there are not the last generation of infrastructure but are quite nice.

I think that in general the educational system in Chile are wrong, I think that it must be a change in general, it must exist a help for the public institutions not just the university, the schools too.  I think that the teachers are too much important for the society, for this there must be good teachers that they want to do a good job and care of the future of the kids.

My Summer Vacations

 

 

Hello friends, this is my blog number seven and today I’m going to talk about my next summer vacations, so let’s begin.

I think that everybody wants to go outside of Santiago when the summer arrives, However, maybe the cases of Covid 19 rise again and no one can travel for the quarantine which is very sad ☹. If the cases of Covid 19 go down and everything came normal I would like to travel, like every year, to Cahuil. Yes, Cahuil, a town close to Pichilemu that maybe you hear of it for the salt hahaha. The most that a like of it is that is a combination of beach and countryside, is a lovely place that you should visit, believe me.

The People which I’m going to Cahuil is my family and my girlfriend. I hope that my friends can go too, we always organize a trip to Cahuil but always happen something else and we can’t travel. How the Chileans says “Le dan color”.

In Pichilemu everyone surf, kids and grown ups, myself include but I think that since 2016 I don’t do it, so I would like to do it again and try the new board that my father bought.

My siblings (Vale and Pablo) and I like to make the people we travel with try to surf, I think that everyone needs to try it, is a fun and nice experience that you have to do it once in your live.

POST GRADUATE STUDIES

 

Hello friends, today I am going to talk about a post graduate studies, so let’s begin.

In my opinion doing these types of course are helpful for the future, besides of what type of course you are going to do because you can focus in the topics that are interfering for you. Also, have a course done can be fundamental when you are going to searching for a job, and the competitions for that job could be high.

I don’t know yet what specific course I could do, however I would like to do courses related to forest dynamics, plant nurseries or forest fires. I don’t know yet which one are going to do because I want to be a one hundred percent sure. I heard these courses are expensive.

I don’t know where I’m going to do these courses however I would like to do in the south of Chile or maybe another country like Finland or Brazil. I think that going to another country to study could be an excellent experience because I could learn other things that they didn't teach me in the University.

I think that I will choose a part time course because maybe I will not have much time, maybe I will be working. I think that this is the best option for my future :) 

My future job

 

How you all know currently I am study Forestry Engineer and I like it. However, in this day, I don’t know what and where I will work in the future, but despite of this, I would like to work in something related to plant nurseries, doing investigation abouts the best ways to produce plants. I would like to do this job because, I will preserve native species and I would contribute with other investigations.

Other job that I would like to do is teach because I always like to help people to understand things that they want to learn. I think I can do these jobs in the same time; therefore, I would do an outdoor and indoor work hahaha.

I think that for do these jobs I need perseverance to get over the possible frustration that maybe I will have, patience because it takes a long time to do research. For the teaching also I need patience, empathy because I must be in the shoes of my students and be fun to have the attention of my students.

I would like to travel a lot in my job. Maybe going to another region, to the south.

About the salary, I don’t know ahaha, however I would like to have enough money to gave presents to my family and maybe buy a house or a car.

Well, by doing this job I’m achieving the dream of my childhood, a job related to the nature and people.

HELLOO ! , today I am going to talk about my career.

When I was in 4th grade, in the year 2016, y didn’t know what to study or if a really wanted to study, because of that I took a year off and I did a Preuniversitario. A friend of mine was studying Forestry Engineer and he recommended it. I didn’t know what it was, so I did some research on the internet and I fell in love hahaha. The main reason it was that the career develops in the outside of a office. Furthermore, I always loved the nature and always I wonder how the ecosystems work.

Currently I am in the 3^rd year of my career and the love doesn’t goes away ahaha. to be honest, If this career wouldn’t exists I wouldn’t know what to do, I think that would choose something related with music or cinema.

One of the most important things of choosing this career, is that a had the opportunity to meet amazing people, close friends and of course my girlfriend <3.  

So that’s why I choose my career, I happy and I really want to go to the university when covid-19 is over, to play taca-taca and hang out with my friends 😊.

The movies

To be honest, I don’t know what I’m going to talk, choose one movie for me is really difficult, because I love cinema so much.

I consider cinema like a good form to expression. So, I going to write about 3 movies of the genre sci-fic and how different can be, being of the same genre.

 

The first one is “Arrival” this movie is about aliens and how the humans all around the world are going to communicate with the aliens. A really good movie with a good cast. This movie will keep your attention in every moment.

“Her” is about love, but in a different way, Joaquin phoenix, the main character fall in love with a computer software. Is amazing how it works all in this movie, the concept of love and relationship in other perspectives.

The last one is “Children of men”, this one is about the future. In the future the humans can’t have children, however and child was born so every want to keep the children alive. This one is amazing too because the camera shows all around not just the characters so you can understand what is happening in the world.

The Pixies

Hello everyone, today I’m going to talk about the day I saw The pixies. In the Christmas of 2013 my parents give to me and my siblings a ticket for lollapalooza, I was so happy and excited becaouse I had the opportunity to see many bands like like Soundgarden, Red hot chili pepper, Cage the elephant and of course my favorite band The Pixies. 

After 2 months of waiting, the day arrived, my siblings and I went to a lot of concerts that day, but the concert that I enjoy the most was of the pixies, because we were at the front , really close to them 

A funny thing that happened that day it was that when the show began everyone became crazy and started to jump. Otherwise, my sis, who was in between all of that, she started to take pictures and I was like “save the cameraaa !”. she didn’t and she took a good picture 😊

It was a lot fun, the concert was amazing, I was so happy to see my favorite group.
